Intro to Pottery Wheel - 4 weeks, 2 hours per week
This 4-week beginner-friendly course introduces foundational wheel-throwing techniques, including centering, opening, and pulling clay to create basic forms like cups, bowls, and plates. Participants receive 8 hours of guided instruction, 24/7 Open Studio access at Denver Pottery Studio throughout the course, and all necessary materials. The class also covers surface decoration and glazing methods, enabling students to craft and finish their own ceramic pieces. This class is offered most weekday evenings and begins at the start of every month.

Intermediate Pottery Wheel, 4 weeks, 2 hours per week
Designed for those with basic wheel-throwing experience, this intermediate course focuses on refining skills and exploring more complex forms and techniques. Students will enhance their abilities in creating larger and more intricate pieces, with an emphasis on precision and varied cylindrical forms. The class includes advanced surface decoration, glazing techniques, and opportunities for individual project development. Participants also enjoy 24/7 Open Studio access at Denver Pottery Studio throughout the course. This class is offered most weekday evenings and begins at the start of every month.
